WILD 100G ROBUSTA, ARABICA BLEND ( 70:30 )
Product Details
In the cup
Cocoa and toasted nut from the Robusta, lifted by a brighter Arabica note through the middle. Full bodied but not heavy, and it finishes clean rather than lingering bitter. Natural processing, where the coffee dries whole on the cherry, gives it a rounded sweetness underneath.
Why 70:30
Pure Robusta is strong but blunt. Pure Arabica is aromatic but can taste thin in a milky cup. Seventy thirty keeps the weight and the caffeine of the Robusta while the Arabica adds aroma and a cleaner finish. If you find Bold too heavy and Arabica Pure too light, this is the point between them.
No chicory
Most filter coffee sold in India carries 20 to 40 percent chicory. There is nothing wrong with chicory, but this pack has none. What you taste is coffee.
How to brew it
Works in a French press, a moka pot or a South Indian steel filter. In a filter, two heaped tablespoons in the upper chamber, water just off the boil, fifteen to twenty minutes to drip, then one part decoction to three parts hot milk. In a press, four tablespoons to 500ml, four minutes. The most forgiving coffee in our range if you are still working out your method.
