Balanced and smooth with a light caramel sweetness from the chicory and a clean coffee finish. More coffee forward than a standard supermarket blend, gentler than a 60:40. Rich aroma when the decoction first drips.
How to brew it
South Indian steel filter. Two heaped tablespoons in the upper chamber, press the disc down lightly, pour water just off the boil, and let it drip for fifteen to twenty minutes. One part decoction to three parts hot milk. Also works in a moka pot.
Who it's for
Daily household filter coffee where more than one person is drinking it. The 80:20 ratio is the one most people settle on once they've tried both ends of the range.
What's in it
80 percent coffee, 20 percent chicory. Roasted and ground in small batches at our Kinfra factory in Chundale, Wayanad. Net weight 200g, around 20 cups. Comes with 100g of tea free.
