What it does

Brews and holds 3 litres of filter coffee decoction, with a warmer plate that keeps it at serving temperature through the morning. One fill covers roughly 100 cups once diluted with milk, which is a canteen breakfast service or an office floor for most of a day.

Why the warmer plate matters

Filter coffee decoction goes bitter if it sits over direct heat, and cold if it sits over nothing. A warmer plate holds serving temperature without continuing to cook the decoction, which is the difference between coffee that tastes the same at 11am as it did at 8am and coffee people stop drinking after the first rush.

Offices, canteens, hostels, hospitals, small cafés and event catering. Anywhere you're serving filter coffee to more than twenty people and a domestic filter can't keep up. It's also the practical step up if you've been running two or three steel filters in parallel and losing time refilling them.
