In the cup

Bright, clean and noticeably more aromatic than anything else we grind. Lighter in body than our Robusta blends, with a defined acidity and a finish that lingers rather than fading flat. This is the pack for tasting the coffee rather than tasting a cup of coffee.

One bean, nothing else

No Robusta for body, no chicory for sweetness. Most ground coffee sold in India contains one or both. This contains neither, which means there is nowhere for the bean to hide. It is also why we only make it from Arabica good enough to send abroad.

Export grade

The same standard we pack for export markets. Grading covers bean size, uniformity and defect count, and it is an objective measure rather than a marketing word. Uniform beans roast evenly, and evenly roasted coffee tastes consistent cup to cup.

How to brew it

Best in a pour over, an Aeropress or a French press, where the aroma has room to show. It also works in a South Indian filter, though a heavily milked kaapi will flatten most of what you are paying for. Drink it black or with very little milk at least once before deciding how you take it.

Every 200g pack comes with 100g of BOP tea. Broken Orange Pekoe brews strong and fast and takes milk well, so it works the way most Indian households make tea.

What's in it

100 percent Arabica, naturally processed, export grade. Sourced from the highlands of the Western Ghats. Roasted and ground in small batches at our factory in Chundale, Wayanad. Net weight 200g, around 20 cups. Every pack carries the batch number, roast date and best before, plus a QR code linking back to the lot.
